Indian Market: Sensex advances over 500 points

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Friday spurted 510 points at 52,775.72 as buying was seen across the board.

The Nifty too rose 157.80 pts at 15,714.80.

The Sensex registered days high and low at 52,809.07 and 52,586.97 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered days high and low at 15,725.85 and 15,650 pts respectively.

The Mid Cap moved up 1.08 pc and Small Cap by 1.11 pc.

All 30 scrips were advanced.

The gainers were IndusInd Bank by 2.05 pc to Rs 802.80, followed by Axis Bank by 1.91 pc to Rs 641.30, ICICI Bank t 1.68 pc to Rs 711.25 and SBI by 1.66 pc to Rs 458.85.
