Indian Market: Sensex zooms over 1000 pts

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Friday rallied 1087 points at 58,322.47 in opening trade as buying was seen across the board.

The Nifty too rallied 290.20 points at 17,304.55.

The Sensex registered intra day high and low at 58,322.47 and 58,153.12 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 17,331.65 and 17,268.05 points respectively.

The Mid Cap rose 1 per cent and Small Cap by 1.13 per cent.

All 30 scrips in green.

The gainers were Infosys by 4.30 per cent to Rs 1480.85, HCL Technology by 3.57 per cent to Rs 1017.15, Tech Mahindra by 3.19 per cent to Rs 1045 15, HDFC Bank by 2.38 per cent to Rs 1426.90 and L& T by 2.32 per cent to Rs 1919.45.
