Infrastructure sector growth slows to three-month low
New Delhi, Aug 31 (IBNS) India's infrastructure sector growth slowed to 3-month low of 1.1% in July, government data released on Monday released.
"The Eight Core Industries comprise nearly 38 % of the weight of items included in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP)," read a government statement.
"The combined Index of Eight Core Industries stands at 168.0 in July, 2015, which was 1.1 % higher compared to the index of July, 2014. Its cumulative growth during April to July, 2015-16 was 2.1 %," it said,
