L&T Technology Services share prices jump after partnership with Mavenir and NVIDIA

Bengaluru/IBNS:  Engineering services company L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS) Wednesday announced that it has been selected as an engineering partner by Mavenir and NVIDIA to accelerate the adoption of AI-on-5G.

The announcement made LTTS share prices touch a 52-week high. At 4.28 pm, L&T Technology Services was quoting at Rs 5,676.50 up Rs 307.30 or 5.72 percent on the BSE.

LTTS will support Mavenir with customization, integration and deployment of Artificial Intelligence applications for deployment on NVIDIA’s AI-on-5G platform.

AI is already transforming many industries across the globe. When combined with the power of 5G networks, the two technologies would enable powerful new use cases in a quick, secure, and cost-effective manner, it said.

The AI-on-5G platform is unified and brings together developments at the edge to accelerate the digital transformation of enterprises across all industries.

Abhishek Sinha, CEO of L&T Technology Services, said: “5G and AI are two inseparably linked technologies - both poised to  significantly improve the performance of applications and solutions and enabling huge amounts of data to be processed in real-time."

Soma Velayutham, Industry General Manager for AI & 5G at NVIDIA, said: “LTTS’ expertise in digital engineering will help accelerate the adoption of AI-on-5G platforms globally.”

BG Kumar, President of Communication Services Business Group at Mavenir, said, “Selecting L&T Technology Services as an engineering partner will enable the technology to reach organizations on a global level and unleash the endless possibilities provided by 5G."
