Mumbai, Sept 22 (IBNS): Leisure hospitality brand Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited (MHRIL) has invited children across India to contribute to the creation of the country's first travel e-zine for children, called 'Teddy Travelogues'.

The quarterly e-magazine will use digital crowdsourcing to source content from children of existing and potential members of Club Mahindra.

The e-magazine will feature a mix of holiday stories, paintings, videos, photos, poems, holiday doodles and food related stories.

These will appear under eight categories – My Family Holiday, Holiday Stories, My Favorite Travel Companion, Young Traveler, The Rhyme Journey, Why Travel?, Holidoodle and Delicious Diary.

The call for entries is open until Oct 15 to children between 4-7 years and 8-12 years.

The entries will be shortlisted and judged by an eminent panel comprising renowned children’s author Neeru Nanda, TV actor Shakti Arora and celebrated photographer Radhakrishnan Chakyat.

Speaking on the occasion, Deepali Naair, Chief Marketing Officer, MHRIL said, “This is an industry first initiative by a leisure and hospitality brand in India to connect with families. We are delighted to announce the launch of this e-zine in order to encourage children and empower them. This pioneering initiative reinforces our commitment to providing an enhanced experience to children at our resorts and ensures we capture the magical moments that children have when they travel.”

The inaugural edition of the e-zine will be unveiled on Nov 14, celebrated across India as the Children’s Day.
