Prashanth Mani, Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Motorola, said the company aims to achieve a 10 percent share of the smartphone market by the end of 2026.

He made the comments during the launch of Motorola’s new premium model, the Motorola Signature.

“We have been seeing good traction so far, and we continue executing on our plan. We are fairly confident of achieving 10 percent,” Mani told The Hindu Businessline.

Highlighting the EMI facility available to consumers in India, he added that the country will continue to move toward the premium segment as its development progresses.

“Winning in the premium segment is key for us. About 60 percent of our revenue already comes from this segment. Growing it further is extremely critical, which is why we launched the Motorola Signature in India today. We are very confident about our Signature series,” he said, referring to the latest premium flagship smartphone that offers exclusive Signature Club privileges, including premium access services.

According to IDC data reported by The Hindu Businessline, among the top brands, Motorola recorded the highest annual growth at 52.4 percent, followed by Apple with 25.6 percent, reflecting sustained demand for its premium lineup.
