Kolkata, Oct 31 (IBNS) Narula Institute of Technology, a flagship college under JIS Group Educational Initiatives, recently organized an International Conference on Computational Advancement in Communication Circuits and Systems.

The conference was chaired by Ajoy Roy, Director – Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, and was inaugurated by Sardar Jodh Singh (Chairman, JIS Group).

The conference was held in collaboration with IIEST, and featured international speakers from Taiwan, Singapore, Australia and USA. A total of 122 papers were presented at the conference, out of which 57 papers were selected.

For the first time, the papers will be published by Springer.

Christophe Fumeaux, Professor, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Adelaide, Australia in his keynote address, said: “The long history of antenna engineering has led to many sophisticated concepts and designs. Despite the relative maturity of the field, progress in communications and sensing technologies brings about new challenges for antenna engineers.”

Ajay Roy, Director of IIEST, explained how computational devices are contributing to the advancement of technologies in his inaugural speech.

Taranjit Singh, MD of JIS Group, feels that more of these kinds of international conferences pave way for a much better understanding among students on the latest global developments in subjects.
