NSE delists 19 companies effective May 12 this year

Mumbai, Apr 24 (IBNS): Deccan Chronicles Holding Limited, Polar Industries Limited, Spanco Limited and several other companies will not be able to trade o the National Stock Exchange (NSE) platform beginning from May 12, the bourse announced recently.

In a notification dated April 21, NSE said that it is delisting 19 companies as per norms mentioned in the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations, 2009.

In its notification, NSE said that 'it has been decided to delist (withdraw the admission to dealings in) equity shares of the following companies w.e.f. May 12, 2017 as per Chapter V of SEBI (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations, 2009'.

Some of the other companies on the list are Ankur Drugs and Pharma Limited, Evinix Accessories Limited (currently known as Evinix Industries Limited), Koutons Retail India Limited, Nuchem Limited, Pasupati Fabrics Limited, Taksheel Solutions Limited, Teledata Technology Solutions Limited, etc.

A few of the companies, including Koutons, TeledataIT, etc, are being delisted pursuant to the liquidation, the notification said.
