Mumbai: The Oberoi Group is expanding its domestic footprint with four upcoming hotel projects, all of which will be operated under management contracts, the company said at its 75th Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday.

EIH Limited, the Group’s flagship company, is targeting growth in key urban and leisure markets under its Oberoi and Trident brands, reportedThe Economic Times..

The new projects comprise two luxury Oberoi hotels in Gir and Hyderabad, and two Trident properties coming up near Nandi Hills and Fort Aguada.

“Our growth trajectory is driven by a clear strategic focus: expanding into high-potential markets, delivering authentic and memorable guest experiences, and upholding the service philosophy that defines The Oberoi Group,” Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman of The Oberoi Group, was quoted as saying by ET.

Together, the Oberoi-branded properties will add 240 rooms—20 keys at a hotel near Gir National Park and 220 in Hyderabad’s Knowledge City.

The Trident hotels will contribute 320 rooms, with 150 keys near Nandi Hills and 170 keys at a property near Fort Aguada in Goa.

According to the report, Vikram Oberoi, CEO of The Oberoi Group, said, “Our development strategy is shaped by deep consumer insight, a sharp understanding of market dynamics, and a steadfast long-term vision.”

He added, “As we open new landmark hotels and earn continued global recognition, we are deeply grateful for the enduring trust our guests place in us.”

The four additions are part of a broader development pipeline of 25 projects scheduled for completion by 2030.

This includes 22 hotels and three luxury boats, of which eight hotels will be owned or co-invested in and operated by EIH, while the rest—including two Dahabeyas and a Nile cruise vessel—will be run under management contracts.

The pipeline covers 16 hotels in India and nine overseas across London, Egypt, Bhutan, Nepal, and Saudi Arabia. Eighteen of these will operate under the Oberoi name and seven under the Trident brand, adding a total of 2,033 keys to the portfolio.

EIH is also preparing to launch The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace in Khajuraho and two Nile Dahabeyas later this year.
