SAIL awarded CII - ITC Sustainability 2015 award

New Delhi, Dec 17 ( IBNS): Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), country’s leading steel-making company and a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise has won the prestigious CII-ITC Sustainability Award 2015 for ‘Corporate Excellence- Commendation for Significant Achievement’.

SAIL was selected as the winner in ‘Category A’, which includes companies with a turnover of over Rs 2000 crore. 

SAIL received the recognition for its exemplary performance and contribution in the Economic, Social and Environmental segment of its business at a function graced by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Dec 15 in New Delhi.

The award was received by S.S. Mohanty, Director (Technical), SAIL in presence of dignitaries and leaders of the corporate world.
