Kolkata, July 5 (IBNS): SlideApp, a lock screen app for Android Phones, on Tuesday said it has partnered with MobiKwik, the largest mobile payments company in India with over 32 million users and a network of 100000 merchants, in a bid to incentivize mobile readers.
A complete mobile media platform, Slide now reaches out to its users with targeted interest based content. If the user has an interest, Slide has the dope. Just the right mix of what the user wants to and needs to read.

Tying up with MobiKwik is a thought through move. Every time a user unlocks a mobile device using SlideApp to read content of his or her choice, the application would credit reward points which can be transferred to user’s MobiKwik wallet. The reward points can be further utilized for online shopping, free movie tickets, free food coupons and paying for utilities. It opens up the world to the user to use his rewards the way he wants through power of the wallet.

The concept was driven by the idea of offering a plethora of choices to users and enabling them to redeem their credited points as per their choice. User is key; Slide is focused on improving and enhancing the experience of their existing users and constantly focusing on acquiring new users. Slide turns into a one stop shop for users where they not only keep themselves updated but also have fun with the app using their rewards for entertainment. The vast user base of SlideApp, over a million now can learn, earn and shop with over 1,00,000 merchants online, through this association.

Speaking about the association with MobiKwik, Amrita Gujral, India Business Head, SlideApp said, “We have now expanded our offerings and stepped in to the next level by tying up with MobiKwik. This partnership gives our users the opportunity to use their points sensibly and in places of their choice. Why should we decide what the user wants? Just like our content, our rewards too are made to suit every user : Enable and Customize, that ‘s our motto for our users. Our team is constantly optimizing content as per user demand and all that we do is a result of what the users today are asking for, or we identify a need gap in. Just a keen eye and ear. ”

Adding to this Nakul Sethi, Digital India Head, SlideApp, said, “User experience has been our prime focus and the ease of using points and redemption can be best realized with a leading player like MobiKwik. Freebies against your rewards, it couldn’t get better for the user! With mobile wallets becoming increasingly popular, we are merging technologies simply in favour of our users making our rewards most genuine and easy to use. Technology is ever-evolving and so are our user’s expectations. We are committed to marrying both on our platform constantly.”

Speaking on the partnership, Mrinal Sinha, Chief Operating Officer, MobiKwik said, “SlideApp is an innovative concept that is already witnessing amazing growth in the country. We are certain that our tie up will be beneficial for both our users.”
