Tata Power appoints Ashok S. Sethi as Executive Director

Mumbai /Kolkata, May 8 (IBNS): The Tata Power Company Limited, which is a flagship company of the Tata Group, has appointed Ashok S. Sethi as Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect for the period upto Mar 31, 2017.

Ashok S. Sethi, is a B.Tech from IIT, Kharagpur.

He was Chief - Corporate Operations Management and is also an Executive Director of Maithon Power Limited, a subsidiary of the Company.

"He has wide experience in power sector ranging from Thermal & Hydro Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Commercial & Regulatory and also Advocacy. He has been with the company for the last 38 years and has deep understanding and commitment to the business and stakeholders. This enables him to drive operational excellence across the breadth of responsibilities. Management welcomes him to be part of the top team and looks forward to his continuing contribution to the company and the sector," the company said in a statement.
