Miami :When accomplished robotic surgeons meet to share their ideas, innovations and procedures away from their busy days at operation theatres, after care wards, or consulting patients it can be the best time to learn and exchange ideas.

Nearly a hundred of them found time to meet for the "Humans on the Cutting Edge of Robotic Surgery" symposium in late November at Miami. For them it was also an opportunity to felicitate global peers who had won accolades at the KS International Innovation Award 2022, a robotic surgery video competition which had started in India in for urologists and this year became a multi-disciplinary global competition.

The highlight of the symposium was a session on how surgical precision improves patient outcomes by Mani Menon, Chief of Strategy and Innovation, Department of Urology, Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, seen here with Mahendra Bhandari, CEO, Vattikuti Foundation and Raj Vattikuti, President and Founder, Vattikuti Foundation.

The event also brought the robotic surgeons face to face with the Vattikuti Foundation founders,Raj and Padma Vattikuti.

The Vattikuti Foundation has supports robotic surgery research, training, scholarships and Fellowships.
