Global temperature needs to be less than 2 degrees above PI levels

New Delhi/UNI: Climate experts across the globe should script a 'credible path' to keep the global temperature increase limited to less than two degrees above the pre-industrial levels by 2100.

This was observed here on Thursday by experts, amid the scorching heat prevailing in Delhi and some other parts of the country.

The observations from the climate experts came with the north India, along with southeast Pakistan, acquired the 'unhappy' distinction of being the hottest part of the planet this week.

Despite the cut in emissions caused by Lockdowns, 2020 is threatening to emerge as the hottest year, since the measurements began.
