Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan takes Covid-19 vaccine shot

New Delhi/IBNS: India's Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan and his wife took the first shot of Covid-19 vaccine on the second day of the latest vaccination drive phase.

Vardhan said he and his wife had no reaction 30 minutes after taking the shot.

The second vaccination drive, which aims to inoculate people over 60 years of age and above 45 with co-morbidities, kicked off Mar 1.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 70, was the first person to get inoculated in the latest phase of drive.
