India records 2,487 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India recorded 2,487 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said in its daily bulletin.

With this, India's active caseload currently stands at 17,692, which is at 0.04 per cent.

During this period, 2,878 recoveries were recorded taking up the total recoveries to 4,25,79,693.

The recovery rate currently stands at 98.74 per cent.

Meanwhile, 191.32 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
