India records 26,041 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India, the country which witnessed a deadly second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, registered 26,041 new cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday.

During the past 24 hours, 276 people died due to the virus.

Active cases account for less than 1% of total cases.

It currently stands at 0.89 percent.

India's Active caseload stands at 2,99,620.

It is the lowest figure in 191 days.

Recovery Rate currently touched 97.78 percent.

29,621 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours.
