India reports over 13,000 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India added 13,091 new COVID-19 cases while the toll went up by 340 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry stated on Thursday.

During this period, 13,878 COVID-19 patients have recovered taking the recovery percentage to 98.25%, the highest since Mar 2020.

The active cases are now 0.40% of the total cases, the lowest since Mar 2020.

India's active caseload is now 1,38,556, the lowest in 266 days.

Under the national vaccination drive, 110.23 crore anti-COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far in the vast country of 1.3 billion people.
