India reports over 15,000 Covid-19 cases, 191 deaths in 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India, which was once battered by Novel Coronavirus, on Friday reported over 15,000 Covid-19 cases taking the overall tally to 1,05,27,683.

In 24 hours between Thursday and Friday mornings, the country has reported 15,590 new infections.

191 people, who were infected with the virus, died in the same period taking the toll to 1,51,918.

Significantly in the last three weeks, less than 300 deaths were reported across the vast country, which was once feared to have been overwhelmed with Covid-19 cases.

As per the Health Ministry, 1,01,62,738 people have recovered from the disease since the outbreak of the virus almost a year ago.
