IOCL to provide 78 ICU beds at GMCH

Guwahati/IBNS: In yet another positive development towards making the fight against Covid-19 a mass movement, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has come forth to provide 78 ICU beds at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital.

G Ramesh, Executive Director & State Headfrom IOCL Marketing office for NE at Guwahati informed Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma about the step taken by the PSU to provide the ICU beds while calling on him at his office chamber at Janata Bhawan on Tuesday.

Health Minister Keshav Mahanta was also present during the visit of the IOCL officials.

Appreciating the gesture, Chief Minister Sarma termed it a true example of social responsibility. He said that the support extended by IOCL would be a great help to the COVID affected people of the State.
