Maharashtra logs 734 new Covid cases

Mumbai, Sep 11 (UNI) Maharashtra reported 734 fresh Covid-19 cases, according to a health bulletin released on Sunday.

The state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 81,10,131, while the overall toll stood at 1,48,285 with a single new death case reported.

The bulletin said 1,216 patients were cured of the virus and discharged, taking the recovery count to 79,55,268.

The state's recovery rate significantly stands at 98.08 per cent and fatality rate at 1.82 per cent.

Presently, there are 6,578 active Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the state, the bulletin added.

In Marathwada region there are 32 positive cases, including 10 in Latur district, Nanded (9), Osmanabad (7), Jalna (3), Hingoli (1) and Parbhani (1), the bulletin said.
