Moderate tremor shakes J & K

Srinagar, May 22 (IBNS) A moderate earthquake shook Bhaderwah Pirpanchal range valley in Jammu and Kashmirâ€™s Doda district on Monday, triggering panic among the people.

The quake, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, struck the Bhaderwah belt at 7.16 am, Met officials said.

Panic-stricken people rushed out of their homes when the quake jolted the Valley.

The quake's epicentre lay 9km south-east of Bhaderwah.

There is no immediate report of any casualty or damage to property
