Rain likely to occur in Telangana, AP

Hyderabad, Feb 25 (UNI/IBNS) : Light to moderate rain or thunder showers is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours, while maximum temperature is likely to be above normal by 2 to 3 degree Celsius in Telangana and 2 to 4 degree Celsius in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema at many places during the same period, Meteorological Department said on Monday.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh on February 28 & 29 and in Telangana on February 28.

Dry weather is likely to occur in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during the next five days, except the above period.

In Telangana, the highest maximum temperature of 39 degree Celsius was recorded at Medak, while the lowest minimum temperature of 17 degree Celsius was recorded at Adilabad during the last 24 hours.

In Hyderabad, the maximum and minimum temperatures stood at 37 and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively.

In Andhra Pradesh, the maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius was recorded at Kurnool, while the lowest minimum temperature of 18 degree Celsius was recorded at Arogyavaram.

In Vijayawada the maximum and minimum temperatures stood at 36 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively, the bulletin added.
