Rajasthan reports 182 fresh nCoV cases, 7 deaths

Jaipur/UNI:  Rajasthan added 182 new coronavirus cases and seven fatalities to its tally on Wednesday, taking the infection count in the state to 15,809 and death toll to 372.

Of the new cases, Dholpur recorded highest 63 cases, followed by Jaipur 53 Bahratpur 23, Kota ten, Nagaur and Sikar five each, Dausa and Jhalwar four each, Jhunjhunu three, Dungarpur, Rajsamand and Baran two each and Udaipur one.

With fresh cases, Jaipur's case tally reached 3059, Bharatpur 1399, Udaipur 664, Nagaur 696, Kota 575, Dholpur 531, Sikar 482, Dungarpur 417, Jhalwar 374, Jhunjhunu 321, Rajsamand 217, Dausa 117, Sawai Madhopur 89, Baran 64 and Bundi 12.

Of the seven fresh deaths, three were reported from Bikaner and one each in Bharatpur, Dausa, Ganganagar and Kota.

With fresh fatalities, death toll in Bikaner reached 10, Bharatpur 31, Kota 22, Dausa and Ganganagar three each.

Till now, Jodhpur accounts for 2,499 cases, Pali 992, Ajmer 468, Sirohi 384 Alwar 368, Churu 278, Jalore 252, Bhilwara 239, Barmer 213, Chittorgarh 208, Bikaner and Tonk 200, Jaisalmer 98, Banswara 92, Hanumangarh 54, Ganganagar, 48 and Pratapgarh 14.

Active cases in the desert state stand at 3,013, and of the caseload, 4376 are migrants.

As many as 12,178 people have been discharged from hospital after complete recovery.

Of the 7,26,077 samples sent for testing, 7,06,363 were negative while reports of 3905 awaited.
