Tata Steel inaugurates Tata Digital Health Services in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur/ Kolkata, Mar 3 (IBNS): Tata Steel on Thursday launched the Tata Digital Health services at Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur.
Cyrus Mistry, Chairman, Tata Sons inaugurated the services in the presence of TV Narendran, MD, Tata Steel, India & SEA and Sunil Bhaskaran, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel.
 
Tata Steel in association with Tata Digital Health (TDH) has launched an initiative to digitise and transform healthcare in Jamshedpur. 
 
The initiative will ensure better medical outcomes and quality of life for the entire population of Jamshedpur which will include the employees as well as non-employees. 
 
The digital health ecosystem will enable delivery of preventive, predictive, primary care through the Tata healthcare facilities, an official statement said.
 
For doctors, TDH will offer fully integrated practice promising clinical efficiency, improved care and technology enhanced customer experience. 
 
It will provide end-to-end clinic management through innovative healthcare products and services including improved in-clinic systems such as electronic medical records, access to faster diagnostic and point-of-care requirements through linkages to labs and pharmacies, and remote patient monitoring facilities.                
The TMH Clinics and dispensaries will now be equipped with a comprehensive Electronic Medical records system integrated with novel diagnostics equipment. These equipment comply to global regulatory certifications and aid immediate diagnosis of patient conditions, especially in testing of basic blood and physiological parameters, with the results being made available in 7-10 minutes. 
 
The initiative will aid the doctors to make more informed diagnostic decisions, through the platform.
 
The clinics would also be equipped with virtual consultation facilities where the doctors would be able to consult specialist advice from partner healthcare providers located anywhere in the country.
 
The services would be further elevated with a pharmacy providing trusted medication and allied services to the whole of Jamshedpur. The pharmacy will offer high quality medicines and associated prescription services. The pharmacy will start functioning 24*7 from April onwards.
 
Mistry also inaugurated the main operation theatre during his visit to TMH. Renovated Operation Theatres will enable complex surgeries like Neurosurgery, Joint Replacement Surgery) to be performed in a modern and safe environment.
