Kolkata/IBNS: One of Kolkata's popular museum, Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM), on Wednesday, will inaugurate a sanitisation tunnel for the use of its staff members and visitors, to ensure a safe environment during the Covid-19 crisis.

According to a release by BITM, an Ayurvedic solution will be used in the sanitatisation tunnel.

According to them, the concentrated sanitization mixture contains Camphor, Menthol and Thymol mixed in the ratio of 2:1:1; two drops of the mixture is used in one litre of water.

The solution will be sprayed on whoever passes through the tunnel for about three seconds.

The system can be run on auto mode or manually operated depending on the situation, said BITM.
