Boys shine in Assam HSLC (Class 10) results

Guwahati, May 25 (IBNS): The results for High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination, 2018, also known as Class 10, and Assam High Madrasa Examination, were declared on Friday morning by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA).

Boys have done better performance than girls by 5.77 percent.

There has been an increase of 8.01 percent in the pass percentage in comparison to the previous year's record of 47.94 percent.

A total of 3,37,570 students appeared in this year's examination and 1,89,191 student have passed.

A total of 60,987 students successfully secured the 1st division while 81,853 students passed with 2nd division and 46,351 students secured 3rd division.

In this year's High Madrasa Examination, the pass percentage was recorded at 50.62 percent.
