Kolkata, Aug 13 (IBNS): To celebrate 73 years of India's Independence Day, The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat is hosting a special food festival at Seasonal Taste until August 15, 2019.

Called ‘Flavours of India’, it includes  large number of dishes from the various states.

The interactive kitchen will be serving an expansive selection featuring traditional cuisine from different states of India, alongside usual selections like Chaat.

India Bread Station and live counters of South Indian dishes, Bengali bhaja, Mumbai style tawa station and kabab sheekh, complementing the elaborate buffet menu.

Some delectable offerings from Kolkata, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, Maharastra, Odisha, Uttrakhand, etc. include ‘Hilsa Macher Jhol,’ ‘Anjeer or Palak ke Kofta Curry,’ ‘Bhuna Mutton Curry,’ ‘Lal maas,’ ‘Chicken Chettinade,’ ‘Subz ki Tehri,’ ‘Lyodur Taschaman,’ ‘Litti chokha,’ ‘Bhareli Wangi’, ‘Prawn Koliwada Masala,’ ‘Mutton Oriya Curry,’ ‘Lamb ki Salli,’ ‘Aloo Mule ki Thichoni’ etc.
