Kolkata, Sep 25 (IBNS): India’s leading producer of Darjeeling tea, the Goodricke group, decided to usher in this festive season with a musical get-together over tea, recently, in Kolkata.

Called the ‘Goodricke Baithaki’, the programme was steered by popular anchor and actor Mir and saw a large number of the city's leading singers coming together to share their moments of nostalgia.

Anupam Roy relived his engineering days, Somlata Acharya Chowdhury was nostalgic about her first break and how Lagnajita Chakrabarty’s dream of working with Indrajit Dasgupta came true.

Upal Sengupta, Anindya Chatterjee and Sidhu reminisced about the good old days of connection between band and Durga Pujo.

A.N. Singh, MD & CEO of Goodricke said "Goodricke as a company has always wanted to create moments over a tea cup. Our Baithaki is also an effort towards the same. We want people to think of Goodricke tea if they are planning a gift to mark a moment."
