JIS College of Engineering receives ASSOCHAM award

Kolkata, Feb 23 (IBNS) : JIS College of Engineering has been awarded the ASSOCHAMEducation National Excellence Award 2016.

Ram Shankar Katheria, Minster of State, MHRD, Govt. Of India presented the award that comes under the Science and Technology Awards group.

Bidyut Majumder, AGM – JIS Group and S.S. Gupta. Dean - Academic, JIS College of Engineering were on stage to receive the award.

Taranjit Singh, MD – JIS Group said, “It is a much a deserved recognition that we have received from such an eminent industry body like ASSOCHAM. It is yet another feather in our cap towards the advancement of engineering education. This bolsters our confidence as a leading education provider and entrusts us with even more responsibility towards our students to encourage them towards innovation, invention and entrepreneurship. ”
