Kolkata/IBNS: Nicco Park, one of Kolkata's top amusement parks for children and adults, like every year is back with Shoot The Bhoot, an interactive laser thrill ride.

Billed as a first of its kind in India with cutting edge technology, the ride was inaugurated by Sovandeb Chattopadhyay, the West Bengal Minister-in-charge of the department of Power and Non Conventional Energy Sources, and Rajive Kaul, Founder Director of Nicco Parks and Resorts Ltd.

The ride consists of a round shaped rotating deck with 2 levels, which can seat 45 people in one go.

Each rider will get an exclusive laser gun to shoot the 100 models of Ghosts and Sci-fi figures which are placed around the periphery.

At the end of the round, the top 10 scorers can compare their scores on a T.V screen as they exit.

Sovandeb Chattopadhyay compared the shooting of the ghosts in the ride to that of the destruction of evil by the combined forces of positive energies during Durga Puja.
