Kolkata/IBNS: After marking its entry into Eastern India with a successful launch at Acropolis Mall in Kolkata, Mad Over Donuts (MOD) is doubling down on its commitment to the region with the opening of its second outlet in Salt Lake.

This marks a significant step forward in the brand’s aggressive expansion strategy, with plans to open 12-15 new outlets in the region over the next 12-15 months, many of which will follow a standalone format to bring the MOD experience closer to local communities.

"We see tremendous potential in Eastern India and are thrilled with the love we’ve received in Kolkata so far. Our aim is to open about 7-8 stores in the West Bengal region in the next two years," said Tarak Bhattacharya, Executive Director and CEO, Mad Over Donuts.

"As of now the most trending donut is the Kunafa Donut that is inspired by the Dubai Kunafa Chocolate. We haven’t done this before, but here in our store, you can actually come and make your own donut, so that’s something new.

"If I had to choose my personal favourite, I would go for the classic glazed donuts anytime," said Bhattacharya (Executive Director and CEO, Mad Over Donuts) while speaking to IBNS.

Absolutely glazed with excitement, both young and senior people lined up for their share of MOD’s signature treats.

With smiling faces, big bites, and the sweet smell of fresh donuts, the launch turned into a full-blown celebration.
