QuEST Ingenium enters 5th year

Kolkata, May 13 (IBNS) : Riding on the huge success of its past editions, QuEST Ingenium, a national-level engineering contest in its 5th year strives to benefit a large number of graduating engineering students from across India.

QuEST Global , which is a global leader in engineering services, the brain behind QuEST Ingenium, has planned to extend an opportunity to the top 100 qualifying teams, for exploring placement with the organization .

This year, the special focus of this inter-collegiate engineering contest is to get more entries from colleges in the Northwest and West Central of India, which includes states like Maharashtra and Gujarat.

To be a part of the improvised version of Ingenium, final year teams of engineering colleges need to register & submit their abstract before May 30.

The contest is open to all final year/pre-final year BE / B.Tech / dual degree students across India. For registration and other details, prospective participants can log on to http://www.questingenium.com or write to ingenium@quest-global.com for queries.

The projects can be from both mechanical and electronics streams spanning Aerospace, Industrial, Power Generation, Healthcare and Automobile.

Starting from 2011, the number of registrations for Ingenium has been increasing in multi-fold year on year. Last year, more than 2000 registrations from 23 states and 262 colleges were received.

Increasing participation shows that Ingenium has become one of the primary national forums for the engineering student fraternity to showcase their talent.

“QuEST believes that through this initiative, we can not only build passion for innovation amongst the student community across academic institutions in India, but also use this as a platform to attract top talent from all level of colleges to QuEST. One of the key offerings of this year’s Ingenium is that the top 100 teams will be eligible to apply for placement at QuEST through our recruitment process,” said Ajay Prabhu, COO, QuEST Global.
