Rabindra Bharati University hosts Tagoriana

Kolkata, Feb 11 (IBNS) Rabibdra Bharati University recently presented at Jorasanko Thakurbari the Tagoriana: a Western Tribute to Tagore which consisted of Western classical art songs that use Tagore’s poetry as the texts.
The programme featured Aidan Soder (mezzo soprano), Jennifer Heemstra ( pianist) and Megatithi Bandyopadhyay ( Rabindrasangeet exponent). 
 
Also present on this occasion were Sabyasachi Basu Ray Chaudhury, Vice Chancellor, Rabindra Bharati University and Goutam Ghosh, Head of the Department of Instrumental Music and Director J.N. Tagore Centre of Research at the Rabindra Bharati University.
