Regal flavours from the Land of Maharajas at Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata

Kolkata/IBNS Shaped by Rajasthan’s rich heritage, climatic features and the diverse cultures present throughout the state, Marwari cuisine has evolved over time into something that stands apart from other Indian cuisines.

Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata is holding a food festival titled “Kitchens of Marwar” at its all-day diner Kava  to showcase the regional cuisine till March 20, 2020.

The lunch and dinner buffet includes “Dal Baati Churma”, “Makkai ki Raab”, “Tamatar Mangori ka Shorba”, “Paneer Ke Sule”, “Murgh ke Parche”, “Rai Ki Machli”, “Aloo Anar Dana Chaat”, from the selection on appetizers.

Main course will include “Govind Gatta Curry”, “Ker Sangri”, “Mongori Pulao”, “Laal Maans”, “Murgh ke Mukul”, and “Safed Maans”, to name a few.

Desserts on the menu include sweets from the heart of Rajasthani culture, such as “Ghewar”, “Kesaria Jalebi”, “Moong Daal ka Halwa”, and “Mawa Kachori”.

Timing: Lunch – 12:30 PM to 3 PM. Dinner – 7 PM to 11:30 PM
