Singapore's chain Harry's opens with in Andheri

Mumbai, March 20 (IBNS): Adding elan to the lively Andheri suburbs, the third Mumbai outlet of Singapore's favourite chain, Harry's Bar & cafe opened in the city on Thursday.

The opening night of the watering hole had a rocking start with filmmaker Sanjay Gupta playing host and welcoming the well-heeled socialites, fashionistas and the crème’ de la crème of the city. All present were captivated by the hypnotising atmosphere and the gourmet delights and vibrant cocktails served up by famed chef Vicky Ratnani and renowned mixologist Shatbhi Basu.

The guests present at Harry’s launch evening in Andheri were Shruti Haasan who claimed she is a big fan of the Harry’s chain, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta walked in with wife Anu, Gulshan Grover, Amit Sadh, Surveen Chawla, Kushal Punjabi, Naved Jafri and Atul Agnihotri sneaked in quietly.

Also, present were Shibani Kashyap, Lalit Pandit, Harmeet Singh, Anu Ranjan walked in with daughter Anushka Ranjan , Nazeen Bedi and husband Ranjit with the couple’s son and daughter. Daboo Ratnani with wife Manisha also made an appearance to support Chef Vickey.

Amidst the 70 covers with interiors that are unequivocally entertainment friendly, Harry’s offers something for everyone, from a strong bar culture braced with a variety of heady concoctions and ample choices of beer in bottle and on tap,  to  culinary perfections of international cuisines to satiate your after work cravings. The bar houses a pool table and beckons the playful, while the laid back can unwind and enjoy the ambient charm and superlative service.

Harry’s was founded by Jim Gelpi (an oil man from Louisiana) in Boat Quay, Singapore in 1992.  A bar without pretension, its popularity soared on the back of its location, elegant yet laid back charm and superlative service.

It quickly became an after office hour haven frequented by bankers and professionals working in the financial district. Fast forward from its humble beginnings back in 1992 to 2015 and, Harry's is not only Singapore’s largest chain of Bars but also a household name that is synonymous with superlative customer service, affordable pricing, accessibility and appeal. It is this approach that has won Harry’s the prestigious 'Singapore Promising Brand Award'.

With a customer base of working executives and a favourite of locals and expats alike, Harry’s Bar maintains its tradition as a place for customers to unwind to great drinks, food and music.

Harry’s is owned by F&B Asia which also owns and manages Harry’s Holdings and its corresponding group of food and beverage establishments.
