Tagore song album of new talent Alivia Chatterjee released in Kolkata

Kolkata, Dec 13 (IBNS)  An audio album  BORO ASHA KORE by the talented vocalist Alivia Chatterjee Lahiri was released recently by well known musicians Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee and Goutam Dey, Regional Director,ICCR, Kolkata.

Songs of Tagore released by RAGA MUSIC rendered by the upcoming  Alivia Chatterjee Lahiri has most popular numbers of Tagore like Boro asa Kore, Amar bela je Jay, Alo Amar alo, Jagonore Jay bivabori,  Pran chay chokhhu na jay and Akash vora surjo tara.

The music arrangement of this unique album has been designed by Sultan of Santoor Tarun Bhattacharya. It is mostly the application of Saxophone, Base Guitar, Octopad and various other acoustic instructions and hands which happens to be the wow factor for this album,  which duly added a western flavour.

Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya said it was his concept to use western accompaniments to an approach to make songs of Tagore more popular to the mass especially to attract the young generation against the so called monotonousness .

ICCR director wished Alivia loads of success in her upcoming project. Percussionist Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee extended his gratitude to Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya  for making a platform for the new talents..
