Tata group invites young corporate minds to battle it out at Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2015

Mumbai/Kolkata, Aug 25 (IBNS): The Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz is back with its 12th edition to engage young corporate minds across India in an exciting pursuit of knowledge with fun.

The annual quiz will kick off from Visakhapatnam on Aug 27 and will be held across 25 cities in India.

Renowned for its invigorating set of rounds and new formats, the annual business quiz is a knowledge initiative by the Tata group to engage and encourage the youth of the country.

Over the years, the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz has attracted the brightest and the best corporate minds in India, with edge-of-the-seat quizzing and innovative format making it one of India’s most sought after business quizzes.

This year the quiz will witness participants from Tata and non-Tata companies across 25 cities in India competing for their place in the 4 zonal finals.

The top two winning teams from each of the zonal finals will participate in the national finals to be held in Mumbai in the third week of October.

The winning team at the national finals will receive a grand prize of Rs.500,000 along with the coveted Tata Crucible Trophy, while regional winners and runner-ups teams, will receive prizes of Rs.75,000 and       Rs.35,000 respectively.

Speaking on this year’s initiative, Mukund Rajan, Member – Group Executive Council and Brand Custodian, Tata Sons, said, “Tata Crucible provides a unique platform to dynamic corporate minds in India to showcase their knowledge and intellect. The quiz has had an exciting journey since its inception to establish itself as the leading corporate quiz contest in India. This annual quiz also reflects the full faith and belief the Tata group has in the youth, confident that they will steer the future of this country effectively.”

Starting from Visakhapatnam,  the quiz will move on to other cities that include Coimbatore (Aug 30), Nagpur    (Sept 03), Raipur (Sept 05), Hyderabad (Sept 06), Jaipur (Sept 09), Indore (Sept 10), Navi Mumbai (Sept 12),   Pune (Sept 13), Ahmedabad (Sept 18), Lucknow (Sept 19), Chennai (Sept 20), Bhubaneswar (Sept 23), Chandigarh (Sept 25), Gurgaon (Sept 26), Delhi (Sept 27), Guwahati (Sept 28), Goa (Sept 30), Jamshedpur       (Oct 02), Ranchi (Oct 03), Kolkata (Oct 04), Thiruvananthapuram (Oct 07), Kochi (Oct 08), Bengaluru (Oct 10), Mumbai (Oct 11).

Zonal finals will be organized in New Delhi (Zone 1), Kolkata (Zone 2), Mumbai (Zone 3) and Bengaluru (Zone 4).

Ace quizmaster iGiri Balasubramaniam a.k.a ‘Pickbrain’, known for his wit and humour, will conduct the quiz.

The prizes for Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz this year are being co-supported by Tata Docomo, Bolt by Tata Motors, Titan and Vistara.
