Parliament Budget Session: Updates

The third day of the second and final leg of Parliament's Budget session is also expected to witness a faceoff between the government and the Congress-led Opposition. In the last two days, there was hardly any business as both the Houses- Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha- were adjourned amid the ruckus created by the Opposition over the deadly Delhi violence. Within minutes after resumption of business, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm. 

Rajya Sabha adjourned for the day

Amid ruckus by the Opposition, the Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 11 am on Thursday.

Government ready to debate Delhi violence: Pralhad Joshi

Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi on Wednesday said, "The government is ready to debate but Holi. We are ready to discuss on Mar 12 and 13."
