Chandigarh/IBNS: After travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra, another YouTuber with over a million subscribers has been arrested for spying in favour of Pakistan, media reports said.

Jasbir Singh, who runs a YouTube channel named JaanMahal Video, has been arrested from Punjab's Rupnagar.

The YouTuber with 1.1 million subscribers was allegedly in touch with an officer of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence or ISI.

Jasbir has visited Pakistan thrice and had also attended Pakistan National Day programme at the Pakistani Embassy in New Delhi.

Several Pakistani numbers were found in his mobile phone and he had a contact with Jyoti.

Jyoti, a vlogger from Haryana's Hisar, was arrested in May for allegedly sharing  sensitive information with operatives of ISI.

As per police, the 33-year-old visited Pakistan a number of times including once before the Pahalgam attack and also toured China.

Popularly known by her YouTube channel Travel with Jo, Jyoti has now emerged as a key figure in an ongoing investigation into a suspected Pakistani espionage network spanning across northern India.

Jyoti had reportedly travelled to Pakistan twice in 2023. Her online activity shows that her visits to Kashmir were followed by trips to Pakistan.

She is currently in police custody and her next hearing will be held on June 9.
