Guwahati/IBNS: 198 school children from 21 districts across Arunachal Pradesh were treated to a day of adventure sports, learning, and exposure to the breathtaking beauty of Mechuka height, located in the country's frontier which offered a rare glimpse into the life of Indian Army soldiers.

A few days ago, a group of schoolchildren had an immersive experience guided by the India Army personnel stationed at Mechuka.

The children participated in various adventure sports, such as rock climbing, trekking, and handling modern weapons, while also engaging in a range of games, as per a statement from a defense source, reported The Shillong Times.

The experience was highly engaging and provided the children with an opportunity to learn from the soldiers and gain firsthand experience in various skills.

The students were awestruck by the picturesque natural landscape in the easternmost part of India, where the Army facilitated a visit.

The visit provided them with firsthand experience of the brave soldiers guarding the country's frontiers, enabling them to appreciate their contribution towards ensuring peace and progress in the nation.
