Assam: 13 people injured after passenger bus hit roadside parked truck in Karimganj

Guwahati/IBNS: At least 13 people were injured in a road accident in Assam’s Karimganj district in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The incident took place on Karimganj bypass road where a passenger bus hit a roadside parked truck from backside.

According to the reports, the passenger bus bearing registration number AS-01HC-6269 was heading to Agartala and hit a roadside parked truck bearing registration number NL-01A-7958.

At least 13 passengers of the bus were injured in the incident and they were rushed to Karimganj civil hospital.

Three among the injured persons are said to be critical.

Locals said that the incident happened due to dense fog.
