Assam: GRP seize 93 kg of ganja from Rajdhani Express Train in Guwahati railway station

Guwahati: The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Thursday seized 93 kg of ganja from Rajdhani Express train at Guwahati railway station.

Based on secret information, the GRP personnel conducted a search operation in the train at Guwahati railway station and recovered 5 bags of ganja containing 93 kg from a coach of the train.

Prosenjit Das, Officer-in-Charge of GRP, Guwahati said that, a total of 93 kg of ganja seized from the train.

"The operation was launched based on secret information. We didn't nab any person, but recovered the ganja. We recieved information that, the recovered ganja were coming from Dimapur," Prosenjit Das said.
