Bengaluru/IBNS: In a shocking incident captured on CCTV, a Bengaluru couple deliberately mowed down a 24-year-old food delivery agent out of anger shortly after an altercation, The Times of India reported.

Darshan, who was riding a scooty, died after the car took a left turn and hit the vehicle.

Manoj Kumar (32) and his wife Aarati Sharma (30) have been arrested.

The brawl occurred when Darshan's gearless scooter accidentally brushed aside the couple's car.

Though Darshan had apologised, the couple took a U-turn out of anger and deliberately hit the scooter and drove out of the crime scene.

The impact of the hit threw Darshan and his pillion rider Varun onto the road.

Later, the couple had returned to the spot where Darshan was hit to collect broken parts of the car.

Darshan was rushed to the hospital by locals but he was declared brought dead.

The deceased's sister has filed a hit-and-run case with JP Nagar Traffic Police and sought strict action against the couple.

The accused have admitted their crime.

Manoj has claimed he was alone at the time of crime while his wife joined him later, police are probing into the claims.
