BJP to hold nationwide protest to seek apology from Rahul Gandhi: Himanta Biswa Sarma

Guwahati/IBNS: After the Supreme Court gave a clean chit to the Modi government on the Rafale issue, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a nationwide programme on Nov 16 to seek apology from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his false allegation on the Rafale issue.

The Supreme Court on Thursday gave clean chit to the Modi government over the Rafale issue and rejected the petitions for a review of the apex court’s earlier order.

Assam Finance minister and Convenor of BJP-led North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said in Guwahati that – “Our party will organise a series of protest function on November 16 to demand an apology from Rahul Gandhi.”

“The programme has been organised across the entire to demand an apology from Rahul Gandhi for making a false allegation against our government,” Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
