Confirmed coronavirus cases and deaths across the world

New Delhi/IBNS: Fresh cases of novel coronavirus are being reported every day after it first surfaced in Wuhan, the capital city of China's Hubei province, in late December.

Over 3,381 have succumbed to COVID-19 across the globe and more than 100,000 infections have been confirmed in different countries, according to Johns Hopkins University, reported Al Jazeera.

New countries are adding to the list of affected countries almost every day and the spread of the deadly virus is yet to be arrested.

According to an Al Jazeera report, the countries that have so far confirmed coronavirus cases are:

As many as 705 people tested positive in Diamond Princess, a cruize ship quarantined off the coast of Japan.at Yokohama, said the Al Jazeera report. So far six people- five Japanese and one British have died from novel coronavirus.
