Cong stages walkout from LS over issue of privatisation of PSUs

New Delhi/UNI: Congress on Friday staged a walkout in the Lok Sabha during Zero Hour over the issue of the privatisation of Public Sector Undertaking (PSUs).
Issue of disinvestment of PSUs was raised during the Zero Hour by Congress floor leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.

''One after another private sector undertaking is being sold away to pampered corporate houses,'' he said.

The House witnessed a walkout by Congress during the Zero Hour over the issue.

There was also uproar in the House by Congress members during the Question Hour on Thursday over the issue of disinvestment of PSUs.

On Wednesday in a Cabinet decision, the Centre  had announced disinvestment plan of five PSUs.
