Delhi excise policy scam: ED issues eighth summons to Arvind Kejriwal

| @indiablooms | Feb 28, 2024, at 05:50 pm

New Delhi/UNI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday issued an eighth summons to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the alleged excise policy scam.

The central probe agency has asked him to appear before it on March 4.

Kejriwal had previously skipped the seventh summons, stating that he would only appear before the Enforcement Directorate if ordered by the court to do so.

The anti-corruption agency recently filed a complaint before a Delhi court against Kejriwal for repeatedly skipping summonses over the past few months.

A Delhi court then directed the Chief Minister to appear before the court on March 16.
