Delhi: Fire at paint factory kills 11, injures 4

New Delhi/UNI: At least eleven people were killed and four reported injured after a massive fire broke out in a paint and chemical factory at Dayalpur market in Alipur, North Delhi on Thursday evening.

"All the injured have been taken to the nearest Raja Harishchandra hospital," an official from Delhi Fire Services (DFS).

According to the official, the fire was reported at 5.25 pm yesterday and nearly 22 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

The fire had been brought under control at around 9 pm, the official said.

Additionally, two motorcycles, two cars, and one mini-truck were engulfed by the flames.

A search operation is currently underway at the incident site, he added.
