Jaipur/UNI: Welcoming her nephew Jyotiraditya Scindia's decision to join the Bharatiya Janata Party, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Wednesday asserted that it is good to be on the same team.

"I admire your strength of character and courage. It’s good to be on the same team. Welcome to the BJP" Ms Raje tweeted.

In another tweet, Raje said Scindia's decision to leave the Indian National Congress was in the interest of nation and following "high ideals inherited by the Rajmata".

"If Rajmata had been among us today, she would have been proud of your decision. Jyotiraditya has taken this decision in the national interest, following the high ideals inherited by Rajmata ji, which I welcome both personally and politically", Raje said.
